The underlined words are the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) that we’ve identified for this job. Knowledge - information applied directly to the performance of a function. For example, supervision is a knowledge. Skills - learned acts. In the example above, we have managerial skills. Other examples include operating a personal computer, using a firearm or operating a backhoe. Abilities - performance of behavior that you can see.
